Welcome to Bamboo Balls

In the USA they call it "Mini Golf," in Australia it’s "Putt Putt," and in Canada it’s "Mini Putt."

But here in Chiang Mai -and back in the UK- we call it "Crazy Golf."

​In transforming this former wasteland, we’ve committed to using local materials and labor at every turn. Our goal is to celebrate the incredible arts and crafts of Northern Thailand while creating something fun for the local community, and tourists alike.

Our Story

Naturally Local

​Every piece of bamboo you see was farmed nearby and treated using traditional methods. As you play, you'll notice a variety of unique, local fence-making styles integrated into the course.

At Bamboo Balls, we believe the best memories aren’t made behind a screen - they’re made on the green!

Whether you’re a local family looking for a weekend hangout or travellers seeking an exciting escape in Chiang Mai, our family friendly space is designed for kids, parents, and even grandparents to play side-by-side.

A Growing Project

​This course is a true labour of love. In fact, it will never be truly "finished" - we plan to let it grow and beautify over time as we discover new treasures and ideas to integrate.
